2025 Call for Sessions

FULL PROPOSAL APPLICATION

The BuildRight Conference will soon be accepting session/speaker proposals for the 2025 conference + expo that takes place April 30 + May 1, 2025 at an all-new location in Portland, Oregon – The Redd on Salmon Street! This year’s conference is already generating buzz in the region, with new partners and expanded programming including two keynote speakers and two days of quality content and dynamic sessions! Take this opportunity to lead a 60-minute session, and share your insights with peers. Session topics of interest are listed in this packet. We encourage submissions from the suggested list, but will also accept topics not listed as well. BuildRight 2025 programming is all about innovation: Sealing the Future: Innovations in Building Envelope Performance.

When selected, you’ll have access to one (1) complimentary registration for the conference and expo – a value of approx. $350 – $450.

Proposals are due no later than January 3, 2025. Selected speakers/sessions will be notified by January 17, 2025.

Email the completed application (see link below), which includes the following information to carole@hbapdx.org:

• Session Title

• Session Description

• Audience experience level

• Session Format: Presentation (1-2 people speaking), Panel (2-4 people speaking)

• Presenter names/name

• Presenter bio

• Head Shot – please send us one if you have it already!

BuildRight has established a reputation for presenting the most current, accurate, and up-to-date information within our sessions. Experience based on the fieldwork or brand name equipment, products, materials, or services is encouraged; however, statements made in sessions intending to increase sales to the specific financial benefit are expressly prohibited unless otherwise agreed upon.

BuildRight is the Pacific NW’s premiere annual residential building science conference and expo. BuildRight brings builders and industry professionals together to discuss advancements in energy-efficient building practices and workforce development in residential new construction and remodeling.
