Chrissi Antonopoulos is a Senior Building Scientist in the residential group focusing her work on the advancement of energy- and carbon-neutral buildings. Dr. Antonopoulos’ research is primarily focused on residential buildings, where she supports projects focused on advanced thermal enclosures, indoor air quality, urban heat and wildfire impacts, and assessment of socio-demographics and equity in the residential building sector. Dr. Antonopoulos also leads many technical projects, focused on electrification of residential buildings, user-centered studies, and identification of indicators for sustainability frameworks. Chrissi has a BS in Business Economics, an MS and PhD degrees in Urban Studies from the Toulan School of Urban Studies & Planning at Portland State University.
