Edward Louie At Edward Louie’s day job he works at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as a Building Energy Efficiency Research Engineer. Outside of the work, Edward is a board member at Passive House Northwest, Solar Oregon, and Building Performance Association. He has also electrified his family’s 1894 house using multiple heat pumps, and installing a heat pump dryer, heat pump water heater, induction range, and has built multiple Corsi–Rosenthal box air purifiers, a do-it-yourself air purifier design that can be built easily and inexpensively while also delivering high performance.
