Grace Weger is passionate about the intersection of equity and sustainability. As a Sustainable Homes Professional and PHIUS-certified builder, she strives to share and use her knowledge to benefit low- and moderate-income households. Grace worked as a site supervisor for Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity before transferring to her current role as Director of Land Acquisition and Development at Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity. During this time she led the construction of 11 net zero affordable homes on Bend’s westside, the NW Cottages development won the Earth Advantage Awards in 2022 for Most Net Zero Homes and Project of the Year Single Family Affordable Housing. Now in land development, she is able to prioritize sustainable building from conception and looks forward to continuing building award-winning and life-changing homes.
