Greg Lasher works with builders and raters across the Pacific Northwest on behalf of utilities and utility organizations to build new homes with increased energy efficiency. Greg is an expert in single-family new construction energy efficiency but has also worked for contractors in the existing homes sector. Greg joined TRC in 2018 to work as an account manager for Energy Trust of Oregon’s EPS for New ConstructionTM offering where he is now a Senior Field Manager. In 2019 and again in 2021, Greg managed code studies for the states of Oregon and Washington. Both studies have been published by Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) and shed light on the code development process, industry adjustment, and builder’s reactions to code. Other clients of Greg’s include Bonneville Power Administration and Puget Sound Energy with their Next Level Home offering. Year-round Greg can be seen promoting the BuildRight conference across the Northwest as a founding member of the BuildRight Roadshow.
