As Program Director for AirAdvice, he currently oversees strategic partnerships, sales and retention, training, and supports new product development.
Prior to AirAdvice, Jeff spent three years with the ARRA-funded Clean Energy Works Oregon program where he recruited and trained contractors, produced a monthly technical workshop for contractors, and used AirAdvice monitors to troubleshoot projects and resolve escalations. After three years with Clean Energy Works Oregon he found a place that would let him pursue the one thing that he loves most about building science: Indoor Air Quality.
Jeff was an independent licensed contractor in Oregon during the 1990s while attending Portland State University. Jeff does not recommend being a contractor and a college student at the same time. After completing his B.S. degree in Community Development, Jeff put his passion to work at Conservation Services Group. Over seven years with CSG Jeff gained experience in multifamily and residential weatherization and was an account manager and BPI proctor for the Home Performance with Energy Star program. It was during this time, around 2008, when Jeff saw the first AirAdvice report.
He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and two girls in a fully weatherized 1959 home with good IAQ.
