He pursued this by achieving a master of science in renewable energy engineering, with a focus on efficient building design. A lot of time was spent developing an expertise in energy modeling, and using it as a tool to achieve energy goals in buildings. Tyler has sought to bring these methods to the building design industry to assist in the development of energy efficient homes and buildings.
